Here is a quick, unscientific test of your grasp of Visual Grammar.

 

In this test image artist Tony Hayes uses at least 8 techniques, in 15 different instances, to enhance his image. These are all methods you'll find in our 'Art Head Start' ebook.

Before viewing the slide show, do this:

1. See how many visual techniques you can spot and write down.

 

2. List how many separate instances of each technique you see.
