When it comes to the consumer product registration process, you have two options. You can register for an FD-35(N), or FD-35(F). For a FD-35(F), you can either register directly with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), or with the Bureau of Consumer Affairs and Registries (BCIA&Registria). Generally, you must register for an FD-35(N) if the product is durable or if it is for use by an infant or toddler.
FD-9(N)
The V-Drums FD-9 is a great addition to any electronic drum kit, letting you perform professional percussion sounds from the comfort of your home. It is quiet, and easy to use, and is compatible with all V-Drums sound modules. Whether you want to practice aggressive moves or play traditional techniques, the FD-9 is the perfect choice.
If you are considering purchasing a new hi-hat pedal, the V-Drums FD-9 is the perfect choice. It is the quietest and most user-friendly hi-hat in its class. Plus, it is compatible with all V-Drums products, giving you the flexibility of pairing it with any 1/4-inch trigger input.
FD-35(N)
If you are interested in importing soft drinks to Louisiana, you will need to use the FD-35(N) Application for New Out-of-State Soft Drink Registration Form. This form is different than the FD-9(N) Application for a New Product Registration Form that is used for products imported from outside Louisiana. The registration process includes a compliance review of your label and other documentation. It is your responsibility to ensure that your product is registered as per LSA R.S. 40:627.
You will need to submit a copy of the current Permit to Operate document, as well as the documentation for any food-service establishments that you are planning to open. You can also include a current facility inspection copy. A copy of your product’s identity statement is also required. All of these items are included in the registration packet. In addition to your FD-35(N) Application for Out-of-State Soft Drink Registration, you will also need to send in samples of the product, copies of the label proofs, and a check or money order for the registration fee.

Consumer registration requirement for durable infant or toddler products
The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 requires that manufacturers of durable infant or toddler products provide a consumer registration program. This program allows consumers to register for direct notification in the event of a product recall. It also requires that manufacturers keep records of registrant information for six years. Registrant contact information should be legible and conspicuous to the consumer.
In addition to requiring a consumer registration program, section 104 of the CPSIA requires that manufacturers provide a postage-paid consumer registration form for durable infant or toddler products. This form must include a statement that information provided by the consumer will not be used for any other purpose.
